Early Childhood Montessori Assistant Certificate Training
Course Description
The Early Childhood Montessori Assistant course is conducted concurrently over the ten months of the full teacher training program. Students will participate in the same lectures, presentations, and practice sessions, however there is no practicum or album requirement. Evaluation will be based on classroom participation and practical presentations for each component. Optionally, students may enroll for chosen subject components separately, however only a certificate of attendance for the relevant subjects will be given.
The assistants will learn about the purpose, and the educational philosophy of the Montessori materials being presented to them. A full range of materials will be covered, as well as hands-on practice with the supervision of experienced instructors.
This is a certificate program. A MACTE diploma is not awarded on completion.
